Welcome Friends

me wearing my straw witch hat smiling at youI have always felt like I was meant for another world, and that I never quite fit into this one. The stories I created in my head were always more real and comforting than reality. From an early age, I created my own intricate characters, painstakingly drew comic books, and doodled in the margins of homework until the lines spilled out and I was scribbling across my bedroom walls, inventing fantastical lands and stories into which I yearned to escape. But it wasn’t enough. I wanted more! Then, in the same year that I cobbled together my first piece of clothing on the kitchen table using an antique Singer sewing machine, my family took me to my first Renaissance faire, and I was forever changed.

All at once I realized that there were other beings like me: fantastical creatures wrapped in human skin that belong slinking among giant trees or sharing berries with fae in a shady glen. My first costume became another, and another, and another, until I was making corsets and working leather, feeling more like my truest self with every piece. Slowly people started to ask if I would make things for them too, a skirt here, a belt there, and my brain started to explode with ideas. I was frantic, I hated stopping to sleep because there were so many things to create! The years started to pass, and I’m happy to say it has never stopped! To this day I will randomly catch inspiration particles floating through the multiverse, and have to stop what I’m doing and focus all my energy on making what is in my mind, or I feel like I might die!

my victorian style workshop where I make my magical creations

Unlike my early years in which I felt alone in my desires to be somewhere else, now I’m now able to create unique pieces for people all over the world who are also fae in disguise! It is my greatest joy to bring out my customers' inner authentic world, and give them a way to dress for the Story Book they belong in. For nearly 20 human years, I’ve delighted in helping people to create their own fairytale in their everyday life, whether that means feeling beautiful, handsome, cozy, adventurous, or fantastical. Everyone deserves to live their own fairytale made just for them!

These days I reside in the giant land of Los Angeles, casting a glamor over my workshop to be a cozy Victorian parlor. Here I work my magic, lovingly handcrafting every dress, holster, or harness ordered, with the occasional assistance of my familiar. (Very occasionally, to be honest!)

All designs, sewing, and leatherwork is done by me, and I take great pride in providing for all different sizes and styles of fairy folk. So take some time, look over the items I have in stock (be sure to sign up for emails about restockings), and if you have ideas for your perfect fairy tale piece, send me a message through the contact page. After all, every good fairy tale has a little witch in the woods, sewing enchanted garments that make your dreams come true!
