Strawberry Cup Cap with Straw

Brand New! The tangy burst of berries, ripened perfectly by the warm sun, fill your senses as you relax under a tree. The gentle breeze brings the scent of flowers and the buzz of the bees. You smile and sip your meade, then replace the cap so none of those bees decide to go swimming. The first in my line of unique cup covers has arrived to complete this magical summer scene!

As with all my work, this cover is created entirely by hand from vegetable tanned leather. It shines bright red with a pop of green leaves and stem at the top. The seeds are hand stamped and painted for a charming 3D effect that looks very "berry-like" from all angles. The cover comes with a green leather suede tie to secure it tightly around your cup handle. The whole cap is clear coated to protect the leather against moisture and ensure a long, functional life.

This version of this cap has a removable leather stem, which is held in place by a cross cut X in the leaves on top, and a slightly large plug end on the stem. Once removed, the X prevents dust and debris from getting through the hole. The matching metal straw can then be inserted through the hole and your beverage enjoyed! To help your cup fit snugly, I offer several common sizes, as well as a special order option. To determine the size needed, measure the diameter of the top opening of your cup from side to side, and choose it from the menu. Being leather, there is a small amount of wiggle room if your cup is between size options, feel free to message me if you have any concerns! Note that a well fitted cup cover will protect against spills, but can not be considered completely water tight!
